Mutate IO Game Review

Mutate.io (mutatio if you prefer) is a multiplayer game similar to agar.io. The player controls a blob which is modified, fed, or grown or used as a weapon to harm opponents.
This game was designed to participate in the Pygame Community New Years jam (theme mutation) I wanted to use the jam to gain knowledge about networking as well as explore game development habits that I’m not used to (e.g. lesser global state).
At present, the only server available is my own: 34.76.77.52, which I’ll likely keep for a month or so following the release. The maximum number of simultaneous clients permitted is 10.

Versions: Version 1.0.1 was available before the close of the jamversion 1.0.2 had minor bug corrections on the server.py file to address sudden client disconnectedions. “Slim” Versions include a compiled version in which I attempted to delete the DLLs, folders or other files that I do not believe you need to run the application. Download at your own own risk.
