Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s surprise and thrilling return, is a continuation of his legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were created in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a long time since he was last involved in an intellectual struggle with LeChuck who is his enemy from the world of zombies. The woman he loves most, Elaine Marley, has switched her attention away from ruling and Guybrush himself is on the run and unfulfilled. He has never been able to discover the Secret of Monkey Island. Hip, young pirate leaders with Captain Madison has snubbed the old guard out of power. Melee Island has taken a downward turn, and famous businessman Stan was incarcerated for “marketing-related crime”.

Banter with old friends and new faces at familiar places that are now under a new and dangerous leadership. Then, you’ll head off to open oceans to find out what’s new while trying to solve difficult problems. Clever puzzles, bizarre situations and outrageous rebuttals can be the only thing standing between Guybrush and the glory of his work.
